A team from our partners at Harvest Now have just returned from the far east. Last year when I was there in Myanmar my heart was knit with Pastors Ling Choi and Angela, their church, orphanage and ministry to unreached peoples.
It’s been a year of expansion and transformation. Our ministry expanded to the far east with trips to Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.
The Fruit of "Tear The Loaf"
Delegates from 24 nations around the world came together as an international family at Dwelling Place Church, Houston
The first part of our trip was our annual English Camp held in China for children ages 2-13. These 70-some kids come from families too poor to hire a private tutor like their highly competitive classmates.
Living with fear, threats, imprisonment without trial, raids, surveillance, betrayal from friends and neighbors, on top of the daily struggle for food, housing and health, nevertheless the underground Christians in China are joyful, resilient, filled with faith and multiplying.
In April, the village that we previously ministered to in Myanmar caught fire. This very poor community lost most of what they owned in minutes, and over 500 people were in need of immediate assistance.
I want to thank you all for your prayer support for my missions trip to Florida and the Dominican Republic. My mission in Florida was to my teenage granddaughters Chloe and Livvy while my daughter Annie, traveled to South Africa to scout out plans for future ministry with her 3-D Missions teams.
I have returned from a sweep of three nations and four cities in 14 days. Working alongside Harvest Now Inc we saw great fruit, encouraging missionaries, imparting to leaders and ministering in churches and orphanages.
